Kathmandu – The debut song from the upcoming Nepali movie “Pujar Sarki” titled “Darshan Gare” has been unveiled, marking a significant milestone ahead of the film’s global release on Jeth 10, 2081 BS. Released on YouTube this Friday, the song encapsulates the essence of the renowned ‘Kauda Dance,’ deeply rooted in the traditions of the Magar tribes.
Starring acclaimed actors Aryan Sigdel, Pradeep Khadka, and Paul Shah, alongside actresses Anjana Barailli and Parikshya Limbu, engaging in a vibrant group rendition of the Kauda dance. Shot against the picturesque backdrop of Dhampus, located in the Kaski district, the video showcases the majestic Machhapuchhre Himalaya, adding a breathtaking dimension to the visual narrative.
The choreography, skillfully crafted by Shishir Khati, breathes life into the traditional dance form, infusing it with contemporary flair.
